A glimpse into what you can expect.

All holes at Pine Dunes have been individually crafted to fit the lay of the land. Below is a selection of key holes on the golf course and some helpful tips to use when you visit this magnificent course.
Hole #1
The first hole at Pine Dunes allows the player to get off to a strong start. This relatively short par 4, dogleg left hole will reward a good tee shot that avoids the right fairway bunker with only 120-150 yards to the green. Putts can be made on this green to allow each player to start off with a good score.

Pro-Tip
Club selection and conservative alignment from the tee is crucial.
Don’t let the swale in front of the green fool you into not playing enough club on your approach shot.

Hole #6

Hole 6 is a beautiful par three. Even though this hole is intimidating off of the tee, it plays downhill and has a large slope to the right of the green that will assist most errant tee shots. The player would do well to take the flag out of play and use the slope to the right of the green off of the tee to set up your second shot or putt.

Pro-Tip
Do not under club, and play towards the center to right portion of the green, regardless of the pin placement.

Hole #11

Hole # 11 is a long and fairly straight par 5. This is definitely a three shot hole, with no real advantage to hitting a long tee shot. Play conservatively to avoid the fairway bunkers to set up you second shot. Second shot should be played short of the swale that guards the front of the green and well left of the fairway bunker. The third shot should be a short iron to a green that has a built in backstop.

Pro-Tip
Avoid the bunkers off of the tee.
Second shot should be short of swale in front of the green.
Be aggressive on your approach shot.

Hole #17
This hole may be the hardest on the golf course, but this is not a time for conservative play. The very large fairway is your opportunity to hit a long tee shot. Take a chance off of the tee here. If you are successful from the tee, you will set up a reasonable second shot. If not, play this hole in three shots.

Pro-Tip
Aim left and be aggressive from the tee. The fairway is W-I-D-E!!
Guard against missing this green anywhere but short.
