Owner of Pine Dunes Resort & Golf Club A former professional figure skater turned senior portfolio manager for a leading financial services firm, Jodi Lutz knew a good thing when she saw it. When shown a deserted 9-hole golf course in the middle of East Texas, she had a feeling it was a gold mine. Reminiscent of her childhood days in Minnesota of pine trees, grass and white sands, Jodi felt this place was special. Her father”s dream of retiring in a warm climate on a golf course was just the inspiration she needed to build what is now recognized as a top golf course by Golf Magazine, Golf Digest and Golf Week.

Befriended
by PGA player, David Frost who introduced Jodi to Jay Morrish,
an industry leading golf course architect, the rest as they
say is history. A few years and a few million dollars later,
Pine Dunes debuted in April 2001. Supported by Jodi”s friends
and clients, Pine Dunes” kick-off celebrity sports golf event
was a success. Today, Pine Dunes continues to attract golfers
throughout Texas, the surrounding states and as far off as
Washington State and Minnesota. The secluded course and the
well-designed holes create a memorable and fun golf experience
that people talk about. In the near future, Jodi plans on building
a loge with villa's for private ownership. Along with golf there
will be fishing, hiking, a wellness center and tennis courts.
These additions will create a truly unique experience for
golfers and their families.
Jodi resides in Dallas, Texas.
